The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Madison Mavericks (San Antonio, TX) and the host Churchill Chargers (San Antonio, TX), witnessed Madison's football team gain a win over Churchill by a final score of 24-16.

With the win, Madison advances its record to 1-3 on the season. The Mavericks host Reagan (San Antonio, TX) to encounter the Rattlers in a 6A Region IV District 27 bout on Friday, October 3. The Rattlers go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Reagan won 43-18 in their recent league bout against SA Roosevelt (San Antonio, TX)

The Chargers now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clark for a 6A Region IV District 27 match on Thursday, October 2. Churchill will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 42-0 league win over LEE (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 4-0.
