In Saturday's league challenge, the visiting Modoc Braves volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Trinity Wolves.

The Braves (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Fall River (McArthur, CA). The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Fall River was edged by Weed (Weed, CA), 2-0, in a league test.

The Wolves now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Etna for a test on Thursday, October 23. Trinity will face a Lions squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Weed (Weed, CA). The Lions record now stands at 22-1.
