In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Branchville Yellow Jackets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Military Magnet Academy Eagles.

The Yellow Jackets (17-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Bridges Prep (Beaufort, SC). The Buccaneers come into the non-league challenge with a 15-7 record. In their last challenge, Bridges Prep achieved victory over Hampton County (Varnville, SC), 3-0, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lowcountry Leadership for a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. Military Magnet Academy will face a NaviGators squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Scott's Branch (Summerton, SC). The NaviGators record now stands at 8-15.
