In Saturday's non-league match, the Breese Central Cougars (Breese, IL) volleyball squad overcame the host Red Bud Musketeers (Red Bud, IL), by a count of 2-0.

The Cougars (24-9) will now prepare for their contest against East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL). The Oilers enter the Cahokia (Mississippi Division) contest with a 2-28 record. In their last contest, East Alton-Wood River was knocked off by Greenville (Greenville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
