In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Red Bud Musketeers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Triad Knights.

The Musketeers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Steeleville (Steeleville, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Steeleville beat Zeigler-Royalton (Zeigler, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights face the Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 29. Triad will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Crusaders go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 league win over Mt. Olive (Mt. Olive, IL).
