In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Groton Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Sioux Valley Cossacks.

With the win, Groton advances its record to 19-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Beresford (Beresford, SD) to face the Watchdogs in a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. The Watchdogs go into the test with a record of 11-13. Beresford won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD)

The Cossacks now sport a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mobridge-Pollock for a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. Sioux Valley will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Roncalli (Aberdeen, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 13-13.
