Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Vikings now have a 22-13 record. They play next when they host Carondelet for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 18. Pleasant Valley will play a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 19-8.

With the loss, Nevada Union drops to 22-17 on the campaign. The Miners travel to Yuba City (Yuba City, CA) to confront the Honkers in a Foothill Valley League game on Thursday, October 23. The Honkers go into the game with a record of 6-11.
