The South Plaquemines Hurricanes volleyball squad (Buras, LA), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers (Westwego, LA)

With the win, Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy improves its record to 12-13 on the season. The Tigers travel to South Lafourche (Galliano, LA) to meet the Tarpons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 18. The Tarpons enter the challenge with a record of 19-7. South Lafourche won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA)
