The Shepard Astros prevailed the visiting Woodstock Blue Streaks volleyball team by a margin of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Astros now possess a 20-9 record. They play next when they travel to Blue Island Eisenhower for a South Suburban bout on Tuesday, October 21. Shepard will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Richards (Oak Lawn, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-21.
