In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting Tri-Valley Mustangs volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Vermillion Tanagers.

With the win, Tri-Valley advances its record to 10-11 on the season. The Mustangs host Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD) to face the Huskies in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 21. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 11-16. Elk Point-Jefferson lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD)

With the loss, Vermillion drops to 6-17 on the campaign. The Tanagers host Beresford (Beresford, SD) to play the Watchdogs in a A Region 4 outing on Tuesday, October 21. The Watchdogs come into the outing with a record of 13-16. Beresford lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Yankton (Yankton, SD)
