October 19, 2022: Hartford, CT 06112 The University Hawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Capital Prep Trailblazers to 0 in the Hawks non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Hawks now have a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weaver for a non-league game on Monday, October 24. University will meet a Beavers team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy (Hartford, CT). The Beavers record now stands at 9-6.
The Trailblazers (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Classical Magnet (Hartford, CT). The Gladiators enter the non-league game with a 1-11 record. In their last game, Classical Magnet dropped by Grasso Tech (Groton, CT), 3-2, in a non-league game.
