The South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) football defeated the visiting Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC), 26-6 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 26. South Caldwell will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record.
