New Jersey High School Soccer - Columbia nudges Montclair
October 19, 2024: Maplewood, NJ 07040 In Saturday's league outing, the host Columbia Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Montclair Mounties.
The Cougars (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Irvington (Irvington, NJ). The Blue Knights go into the Super Essex - American outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Irvington got by Orange (Orange, NJ), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Mounties play the Cedar Grove Panthers (Cedar Grove, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 24. Montclair will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record.
