October 19, 2024: Sparta, NJ 07871 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ) and the visiting Kittatinny Regional Cougars (Newton, NJ), saw Pope John XXIII's soccer squad hold off Kittatinny Regional by a count of 4-3.
The (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, NJ). The Vikings enter the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Parsippany Hills was edged by Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
