In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Northwestern Tigers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Western Panthers.

The Tigers (14-16) will now prepare for their challenge against West Lafayette (West Lafayette, IN). The Red Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 23-5 record. In their last challenge, West Lafayette edged Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
