Next, the Blue Comets face the Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A contest, on Wednesday, October 4. Asheboro will attempt to better on its 12-1 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 5-6 record after their 4-0 league win over Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC).
