In Wednesday's league game, the Thornton Trojans (Thornton, CO) flag football team edged the visiting Aurora Central Trojans (Aurora, CO), by a score of 7-6.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Aurora West College Prep Academy Spartans (Aurora, CO) in a 5A/4A Northern Colorado game, on Monday, October 7. Thornton will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 3-6 record after their 18-0 non-league loss to Denver West (Denver, CO).
