The Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO) flag football knocked off the host Aurora Central Trojans (Aurora, CO), 23-6 in Wednesday's league outing.

The Hawks now sport a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Legacy for a 5A/4A Northern Colorado outing on Wednesday, October 16. Horizon will clash with a Lightning squad coming off a 18-14 league win over Thornton (Thornton, CO). The Lightning record now stands at 6-8.

With the defeat, Aurora Central drops to 3-11 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Mountain Range (Westminster, CO) to clash with the Mustangs in a 5A/4A Northern Colorado outing on Thursday, October 10. The Mustangs come into the outing with a record of 2-11. Mountain Range lost 25-20 in their recent non-league outing against Overland (Aurora, CO)
