October 2, 2024: Bangor, ME 04401 John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Presque Isle Wildcats (Presque Isle, ME), 4-2 in a league test.
With the triumph, John Bapst Memorial advances its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Mount Desert Island (Mount Desert, ME) to clash with the Trojans in a Class B - North test on Saturday, October 5. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-7. Mount Desert Island lost 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against Bucksport (Bucksport, ME)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Ellsworth Eagles (Ellsworth, ME) in a Class B - North battle, on Saturday, October 5. Presque Isle will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 6-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Hermon (Hermon, ME).
