In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Western Alamance Warriors volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves.

With the win, Western Alamance improves its record to 10-6 on the season. The Warriors host Person (Roxboro, NC) to encounter the Rockets in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 8. The Rockets go into the battle with a record of 15-2. Person won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC)

The Fighting Red Wolves now own a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williams for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 8.
