With the win, Nicholas County advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bluejackets host Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Monday, October 14. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 1-4.
The Lions now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Carter for a non-league test on Monday, October 7. Lewis County will face a Comets squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Raceland (Raceland, KY). The Comets record now stands at 1-6.
