Connecticut High School Soccer - Ellington knocks off St. Bernard
October 2, 2024: Ellington, CT 06029 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Ellington Knights (Ellington, CT) and the visiting St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT), saw Ellington's soccer squad knock off St. Bernard by a count of 4-1.
The Knights (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Stafford (Stafford Springs, CT). The Bulldogs enter the Central Connecticut - North battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Stafford by Canton (Canton, CT), 7-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Saints battle the Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut III battle, on Thursday, October 3. St. Bernard will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 3-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Harvard Ellis Tech (Killingly, CT).
