The Northern Nash Knights volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars to 0 in the Knights non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Knights now have a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Franklinton for a The Big East 2A/3A outing on Thursday, October 3. Northern Nash will play a Red Rams team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC). The Red Rams record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, SouthWest Edgecombe drops to 1-15 on the campaign. The Cougars host Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC) to play the Chargers in a Eastern Plains 2A outing on Thursday, October 3. The Chargers come into the outing with a record of 22-1. Ayden - Grifton won 3-0 in their recent league outing against North Pitt (Bethel, NC)
