Texas High School Football - Runge overwhelmed by New Braunfels Thunder

October 2, 2025: Runge, TX 78151

The New Braunfels Thunder Homeschool walloped the host Runge Yellowjackets football team by a score of 52-14 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Homeschool clash with the Veritas Academy (Austin, TX) in a non-league outing, on Friday, October 10. New Braunfels Thunder will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The come into the outing with a 2-3 record after their 52-30 non-league loss to Coram Deo Academy (Plano, TX).

With the defeat, Runge drops to 4-2 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Victoria Cobra HomeSchool (Victoria, TX) to battle the Cobra in a non-league game on Friday, October 10. The Cobra enter the game with a record of 1-3. Victoria Cobra HomeSchool won 66-18 in their recent non-league game against Pawnee (Pawnee, TX)
