In Friday's non-league game, the New Braunfels Thunder Homeschool (New Braunfels, TX) football team triumphed over the host Prairie Lea Indians (Prairie Lea, TX), by a tally of 54-8.

In their next game, the Homeschool battle the CenTex HomeSchool Chargers (Temple, TX) in a TAIAO Division 2 - North (6 Man) game, on Friday, September 12. New Braunfels Thunder will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Chargers enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 59-0 non-league win over Town East Christian (San Antonio, TX).
