Michigan High School Football - Dakota thwarted by Romeo
October 2, 2025: Macomb, MI 48044 Romeo Bulldogs (Romeo, MI) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI), 28-6 in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sterling Heights Stevenson for a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. Romeo will meet a Titans squad coming off a 48-8 league loss to Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI). The Titans record now stands at 1-5.
With the defeat, Dakota drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI) to meet the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 9. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Utica Eisenhower lost 12-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI)
