September 11, 2025: Macomb, MI 48044 The Dakota Cougars football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Anchor Bay Tars to 6 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sterling Heights Stevenson for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Dakota will meet a Titans squad coming off a 58-14 non-league loss to Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI). The Titans record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Anchor Bay drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Tars travel to Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI) to meet the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, September 18. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 1-1.
