North Carolina High School Football - Union overwhelmed by Hobbton
October 2, 2025: Newton Grove, NC 28366 The Hobbton Wildcats walloped the visiting Union Spartans football team by a score of 50-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC) in a test, on Thursday, October 16. Hobbton will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record.
With the defeat, Union drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC) to face the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, October 9. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 3-3. East Bladen lost 28-22 in their recent non-league game against North Duplin (Calypso, NC)
