North Carolina High School Football - Hobbton can't hold off East Bladen
September 25, 2025: Newton Grove, NC 28366 The East Bladen Eagles got by the host Hobbton Wildcats football squad by a margin of 7-6 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Eagles now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Duplin for a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. East Bladen will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 30-0 non-league loss to Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, Hobbton drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Union (Rose Hill, NC) to meet the Spartans in a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-3. Union lost 48-0 in their recent non-league test against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC)
