Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA), 8-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Chartiers Valley advances its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Colts travel to West Allegheny (Imperial, PA) to clash with the Indians in a WPIAL AAAA 4 test on Tuesday, October 7. The Indians come into the test with a record of 7-6. West Allegheny won 2-0 in their recent league test against Montour (McKees Rocks, PA)

The Bridgers now have a 4-8 record. They take the field next when they host Blackhawk for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. Ambridge will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Baldwin (Pittsburgh, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-9.
