Alisal Trojans (Salinas, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Soledad Aztecs (Soledad, CA), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Trojans (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Gilroy (Gilroy, CA). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, Gilroy lost by Willow Glen (San Jose, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Aztecs play the Monterey Dores (Monterey, CA) in a Pacific Coast - Mission challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Soledad will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record.
