In Thursday's league match, the Canby Cougars (Canby, OR) volleyball squad prevailed the host Hood River Valley Eagles (Hood River, OR), by a final score of 3-1.

Next up, the Cougars confront the St. Mary's Academy Blues (Portland, OR) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 4. Canby will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Blues come into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Tigard (Tigard, OR).
