Minden Whippets (Minden, NE) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Centura Centurions (Cairo, NE), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Minden improves its record to 18-6 on the season. The Whippets host Ogallala (Ogallala, NE) to face the Indians in a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. The Indians go into the test with a record of 20-3.

The Centurions now own a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Cecilia for a C2 District 9 test on Tuesday, October 7. Centura will face a Bluehawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Tri County (DeWitt, NE). The Bluehawks record now stands at 16-7.
