The Fairland Dragons (Proctorville, OH) volleyball held off the host Ironton Fighting Tigers (Ironton, OH), 3-2 in Thursday's league bout.

The Dragons now possess a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to South Point for a Ohio Valley bout on Tuesday, October 7. Fairland will clash with a Pointers team coming off a 3-2 league win over Chesapeake (Chesapeake, OH). The Pointers record now stands at 13-6.
