The Fortuna Huskies volleyball squad (Fortuna, CA), dropped 3-1 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting McKinleyville Panthers (McKinleyville, CA)

The Panthers (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against St. Bernard's (Eureka, CA). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, St. Bernard's beat Ferndale (Ferndale, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Huskies meet the Del Norte Warriors (Crescent City, CA) in a Humboldt-Del Norte - Big 5 challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Fortuna will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 17-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Inderkum (Sacramento, CA).
