In Thursday's non-league match, the Van Buren Black Knights (Van Buren, OH) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Black Knights clash with the Vanlue Wildcats (Vanlue, OH) in a Blanchard Valley bout, on Monday, October 6. Van Buren will attempt to better on its 15-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 2-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Allen East (Harrod, OH).
