Nonnewaug Chiefs (Woodbury, CT) boosters were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Lakeview Bobcats (Litchfield, CT), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Chiefs (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record.

Next, the Bobcats meet the New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 6. Lakeview will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
