In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Lawrence-Nelson Raiders volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the McCool Junction Mustangs.

Next up, the Raiders face the Nebraska Lutheran Knights (Waco, NE) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 7. Lawrence-Nelson will attempt to advance on its 5-14 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 5-15 record after their 3-0 league win over East Butler (Brainard, NE).
