The South Fayette Lions football team (McDonald, PA), was beaten 49-29 in Friday's league challenge with the host Bethel Park Black Hawks (Bethel Park, PA)

The Black Hawks (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Peters Township (McMurray, PA). The Indians come into the WPIAL AAAAA Allegheny Six challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Peters Township achieved victory over Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA), 23-10, in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Upper St. Clair for a WPIAL AAAAA Allegheny Six challenge on Friday, October 27. South Fayette will meet a Panthers team coming off a 43-42 league win over Moon Area (Moon Township, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-2.
