Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Loving Falcons (Loving, NM), 35-28 in a league test.

With the triumph, Eunice improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign.

With the loss, Loving drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Texico (Texico, NM) to battle the Wolverines in a 2A District 4 test on Friday, October 27. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 7-2. Texico won 21-13 in their recent league test against Jal (Jal, NM)
