The Rains Wildcats football team (Emory, TX), was ripped 62-28 in Friday's league challenge with the host Pottsboro Cardinals (Pottsboro, TX)

The Cardinals (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Commerce (Commerce, TX). The Tigers come into the 3A-1 Region II District 5 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Commerce was ripped by Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX), 38-13, in a league challenge.
