New Mexico High School Volleyball - Carrizozo can't hold off Mountainair
October 20, 2023: Mountainair, NM 87036 The Carrizozo Grizzlies volleyball team (Carrizozo, NM), was edged 3-2 in Friday's league challenge with the host Mountainair Mustangs (Mountainair, NM)
The Mustangs (2-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Hondo Valley (Hondo, NM). The Eagles come into the 1A District 3 challenge with a 3-11 record. In their last challenge, Hondo Valley was edged by Corona/Vaughn (Corona, NM), 3-2, in a league challenge.
Next, the Grizzlies encounter the Alamo Navajo Cougars (Magdalena, NM) in a 1A District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, October 24. Carrizozo will attempt to move on its 6-13 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Corona/Vaughn (Corona, NM).
