In Friday's league battle, the host Dakota Valley Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Vermillion Tanagers.

The Panthers (16-10) will now prepare for their battle against Tea (Tea, SD). The Titans come into the A Region 4 battle with a 5-19 record. In their last battle, Tea lost by Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Tanagers clash with the Parker Pheasants (Parker, SD) in a A Region 4 battle, on Monday, October 23. Vermillion will attempt to advance on its 6-19 season record. The Pheasants come into the battle with a 5-20 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Flandreau (Flandreau, SD).
