October 20, 2023: Kodiak, AK 99615 The Valdez Buccaneers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Kodiak Bears to 0 in the Buccaneers non-league victory on Friday.
The Buccaneers now have a 34-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lathrop for a non-league game on Friday, October 20. Valdez will meet a Malemutes team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Palmer (Palmer, AK). The Malemutes record now stands at 19-11.
The Bears (17-11) will now prepare for their game against Wasilla (Wasilla, AK). The Warriors enter the 4A Northern Lights game with a 63-3 record.
