In Monday's league challenge, the host Sabetha Bluejays volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Nemaha Central Thunder.

In their next game, the Thunder face the Maranatha Christian Academy Eagles (Shawnee, KS) in a non-league test, on Monday, October 20.
