In Friday's league match, the visiting Benjamin Russell Wildcats football squad scored a big 47-7 victory over the Helena Huskies.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Valley Rams (Valley, AL) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 28. Benjamin Russell will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 4-5 record after their 12-6 non-league win over Carroll (Ozark, AL).
