The Carson Cougars football squad scored 35 points and restricted the visiting Central Cabarrus Vikings to 34 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Rowan for a 3A West Conference 48 battle on Friday, October 28. Carson will play a Raiders squad coming off a 37-20 league loss to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 1-8.
