October 21, 2022: Rocky Mount, VA 24151 In Friday's league match, the visiting Fleming Colonels football squad scored a good 35-26 victory over the Franklin County Eagles.
In their next game, the Colonels clash with the Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA) in a Blue Ridge match, on Friday, October 28. Fleming will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 19-7 league win over Byrd (Vinton, VA).
The Eagles (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Cavaliers enter the Blue Ridge match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Lord Botetourt thwarted Northside (Roanoke, VA), 48-7, in a league match.
