The Franklin County Eagles football team (Rocky Mount, VA), was tipped 33-32 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Salem Spartans (Salem, VA)

The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Fleming was tipped by Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA), 33-17, in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Liberty Christian for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Franklin County will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 35-14 non-league win over Bassett (Bassett, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.
