In Friday's non-league game, the Manhattan Indians (Manhattan, KS) football team were victorious over the visiting Northwest Grizzlies (Wichita, KS), by a score of 56-28.

The Indians (8-0) will now prepare for their game against North (Wichita, KS). The come into the non-league game with a 0-8 record. In their last game, North was knocked off by Pittsburg (Pittsburg, KS), 38-7, in a non-league game.

The Grizzlies now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Southeast for a Greater Wichita City game on Friday, October 28. Northwest will meet a Golden Buffalo team coming off a 42-23 non-league loss to Dodge City (Dodge City, KS). The Golden Buffalo record now stands at 1-7.
